Right mouse click on computer management (local) and connect to another computer, put in the machine name of the server you are having problems with Shared folders, sessions and or open files P -----Original Message----- From: Dirk Bulinckx [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: 20 March 2006 15:40 To: Servers Alive Discussion List Subject: [SA-list] RE: [SA-list] multiple connections to shared resource In the good old days of NT 3.x and 4.0 there was a tool called the SERVER MANAGER and in that you could see the connection to a share (on that system). I suppose the same should exist for Win2K or Win2K3? I am using the file count check. I am using the administrator authentication. (This check has been working for many months). It uses the same credentials I am logging on to my server with and I can access that directory through windows. In otherwards I know this is a windows error but I cannot duplicate it within windows itself. I can reboot the server tonight but I would like to troubleshoot this first. -- Jason Passow Mississippi Welders Supply [EMAIL PROTECTED] ph: (507) 494-5178 fax: (507) 454-8104 "If you do everything right, nobody will realize you've done anything at all."
