Subject: [SA-list] Creating web front end
Hello everyone, I have read through the mailing list archive and I have seen
that other people have started or even finished creating a web front end for
Salive. I want to do the same, my idea is to dynamically create the host
file, send it to the computer running salive, and reload the config via the ssh
interface. However I have run into an issue.... How do you go about
encrypting the password for the service... The machine that is running salive is
not on the domain, nor is it logged in with the domain admin, there is no option
for this so I have to use the "authenticate before checking" option in
salive. Does anyone know how that password is stored back into the text
file? Is there anyway of generating that encryption either via ssh, telnet
or a script?
Thanks!
Daniel
