Subject: [SA-list] Setting Person Active dates
Dirk,
A query and/or wishlist item. Whenever people go on holiday, they usually call in a day or two later with a desperate plea for me to take them off the SMS alerting list. Naturally I then forget to make them "active" again when they return.
I wondered if I could use the "On Call" tab to get around this - just make them on call by default, and make them off call during their holiday. The trouble is that (as far as I can see) in order to put them on call for a period of time (or even forever) I would need to select each day in turn and click the "on call" button.
So... could there be either some way to mark a range of dates (or all dates) marked as On Call, -or- some way of setting someone as inactive for a period of time after which they become active again (similar to the active/maintenance thing for a check)?
Thanks!
Ian
