Servers Alive v4.x does not support integrated windows
authentication for "normal" webpage authentication.
Servers Alive v5.1 does support ntlm authentication for
webpages.

Subject: [SA-list] URL authentication issue
I'm having an issue
where Servers Alive (v4.1.1621 running as service) can't monitor a URL. It
returns a "failed du to 401 unauthorized(line 0)" error in the log
file.
The website sits on
an internal server running IIS6. When the user types http://mysite in their browser on our network, it opens
http://mysite/default.aspx utilizing
integrated Windows authentication. It then redirects to a web application
running on the same server.
The check I setup
points to http://mysite/default.aspx,
and I included a valid user name and password to log into this page, as well as
valid text on that page to use as a criteria.
I am able to open
this page in both Front Page and Notepad and view the text. Any ideas why
I can't get Servers Alive to authenticate?
