You can put an entry into maintenance (and back to active too) via an alert.
(execute command - internal Servers alive command - set entry to
maintenance)

Subject: [SA-list] Automatic Maintenance

Hiya
Forgive me if this is covered elsewhere but is it possible to have a
system automatically placed into maintenance mode when an alert is
triggered? In this case we want to flag when remote access services are
enabled for outside support companies. This wouldnt be a critical error but
rather indicate work was taking place on the system.

Thanks in advance

Neil
