OK, panic over, I've found the problem. Most of my SNMP checks were set to "Convert to text", although I don't think that was working properly in v5. In fact I use a script to convert to a meaningful repsonse. I guess the response conversion/MIB translation stuff may have been changed slightly in v6, because when I change them all to "don't convert to text" it all starts working again.

Help!!!
I've just upgraded to v6. All my SNMP checks are failing - the log gives "ERR : SNMPCheck 13 - Type mismatch" What's happened?

If you use auto-responders (like out-of-the-office messages), then make sure that they are not send to the list nor to the individual members of the list that send a message. Doing this will get you removed from the list.
