For your diskspace checks you could also specify a username/password and that 
way it can run as service using the system account with desktop interaction. 
 
When you say "application stopped", could you explain a bit more what you mean 
with that? 
 
Also what exact version/build of Servers Alive are you using?

Subject: [SA-list] Problem with SA6 running as Applikation





Whenever I run our SA6-Server as Application (to change Settings etc) it 
behaves peculiar. Whenever I leave it alone for some minutes (and ones or twice 
during doing something on the machine) the application stopped. When running as 
service, it runs for day without problems, but as app, it isn’t very stable. Is 
stopping the service and starting the application still the only way to edit 
something on SA6 as my colleagues tell me it is on SA5? When running the 
service via the local system account, I got the task icon for SA in the tray 
and could start that to edit things, but unfortunately to get some disk space 
checks running, it has to run under another account, where I don’t get the 
icon.
