A few things, in no particular order: One - is the XP Firewall on? Two - are the machines on a domain, or in a workgroup? Three - if in a workgroup, how is file sharing enabled? Four - can you use either the XP command TASKLIST or the Sysinternals tools PSLIST to generate a process list from another machine? Five - can you generate a SHARE list or map a drive on another machine that is hosted ON your target machine? ----- Salvador Manzo [ 620 W. 35th St - Los Angeles, CA 90089 e.
