You need to go to the exchange administrator and allow the ip address of the servers alive system to relay through the unit or at least to allow authenticated users to do so and then in the SMTP settings in SA set it to authenticate with a user who has permission to send email. (if you just allow that IP to relay though it will make life easiest.
