I see in the archives that you can set the ICMP packet size for ping checks in
the registry under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\DBU Consulting\Servers
Alive\PingSize. The note was sent back in 2004, so I'm curious if the location
has changed, as it would seem to make sense under
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\DBU Consulting\Servers Alive\Ping\PingSize. I
looked through the documentation and couldn't find any reference to it, so
could it be added?

Additionally, I ran into a strange situation where I was working with Servers
Alive on machine where the mapped drive for some typical windows locations as
indicated in HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell
Folders wasn't mapped. When I was modifying the settings through the setup
button in Servers Alive, any time I clicked the OK button, I'd be presented
with a error 76 Path does not exist error message. After clicking OK, the gui
would disappear, but the task serversalive.exe would remain in the task list.
This isn't a terrible problem as it is fairly unlikely to occur under normal
use, but was very frustrating until I figured out what path it wanted. I pored
through the registry settings looking for the path it didn't like and couldn't
find a path that didn't exist - all paths set in the registry pointed to
c:\data\salive, which does exist.
