The "excellent" support you seem to want tends to cost more than you have paid. This is not a knock against Woodstone or Dirk but Servers Alive is a low cost product from a small company. I'm sure Woodstone could support you via phone if that is your preference. However, given the time differences and costs for international calling it doesn't seem effective. I for one have gotten better support via email from Woodstone than any of the big name products that I have used via any method. This includes HP to whom I currently pay six figures yearly for support. This why I maintain a person license for the Enterprise version and my company maintains one as well. I know I can get the job done with Servers Alive with minimal effort and cost.
If the support you receive does not meet your expectations maybe this is not the product for you but I think you will find it a challenge to find better support on any product at the same level of cost. There is a very knowledgable group on this list who can give significant support and Dirk sleeps less than any person I know so answers can usually be had very quickly. If there is a software problem Woodstone will have a fix in short order. I don't use the team options but your registry concern seems unusual... -Kevin On 2/19/08, Stout, Josh <[EMAIL PROTECTED] (mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED])> wrote: "Excellent" support normally includes person to talk to. A single email address based in a foreign country with *still* no response is not "excellent." I'm sure they have good intentions and are nice people. But I'm not seeing any results. *Still* no response (other than the newsgroup -- which got a quick retort.) Seems like you are barking up the wrong tree here. We have all received GREAT support. Not just mediocre but EXCELLENT support. I do recall seeing a post come across the mailing list with any problems either. I am sure that this problem could have been solved. Perhaps before griping about the fact that you created more work for yourself you should have exhausted all options including the mailing list. That is all I am saying about the issue in order to ensure this thread does not degenerate to name calling.
