Sure that is possible

For the primary mailserver

                Create/edit HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\DBU Consulting\Servers
Alive\SMTP\PrimarySMTPPort and give it as value the portnumber you want to use

For the alternate mailserver

Create/edit HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\DBU Consulting\Servers
Alive\SMTP\AlternateSMTPPort and give it as value the portnumber you want to
use

A restart of SA is ofcourse needed.

This will NOT work with direct send as that will always use the standard port.

Also I would suggest to update to 6.1.2204 which can be downloaded from
http://www.woodstone.nu/salive/download.asp
(http://www.woodstone.nu/salive/download.asp) (as mentioned on the list on
Monday the 25th - we were able to identify a HANG possibility within build 2200
that is fixed in 2204).

Subject: [SA-list] Setting up servers alive to use alternate smtp port

Is there a way to change the port server’s alive uses to send mail?
I’m looking to setup a receive connector on my exchange 2007 server but
I’d like to do it by accepting the mail on a port other than 25 instead
of adding a second IP address to my exchange server.

Enterprise version 6.1.2200

Thanks,
