About the look-and-feel part:
I agree that it's needed that we will have some options to
customize the look. With the "little" I know about webpages, I do think that
most can be done use style-sheets. However I don't know exactly how they work.
If someone can shed a clear light on it, I'm sure that it will be easy to add
that to saWeb. As for a title/header/logo, that should be easy to do too.
About the functionality part:
most of your requests seem logical…not sure how
easy/difficult they will be to implement :-)

Subject: [SA-list] SAWeb improvements
Dirk asked for suggestions for improving SAWeb. I've been giving this some
thought, and have come up with the following list. This is based on the premise
that SAWeb is aimed at people who are not SA specialists, but who need to do
basic work with it - in our case, that would be our Service Desk team.
Look and feel:
* Customisable font, font size, font colours
* Customisable title and header, e.g. adding corporate logo
* CSS based layout might allow best flexibility
Functionality:
* Set in and out of maintenance date/times (ideally by means of a popup
calendar)
* Change sort order
* Show only active/maintenance/unavailable/up/down/recently changed
* Click on entry to display full details of check & result
* When filtering by group, show sub-groups to allow drill down
What do people think?
