Most likely you missed a step, it happens... I for one was a typical IT person
and didn’t read the instructions at all. J But did it again later
following the steps and worked perfectly.

Thank you,

Subject: [SA-list] Migration from v6 to v7 and GROUPS

Hi,

Today I upgraded my ServersAlive installation form v6 to v7. I followed the
instructions on http://www.woodstone.nu/salive/howtoupgrade.php
(http://www.woodstone.nu/salive/howtoupgrade.php) and everything went fine,
except that my GROUPS disappeared.

I did a little digging (with procmon) and found out that, instead of looking
for the GROUPS.GRP file in the serversalive.exe folder it now looks in
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Woodstone\Servers Alive.

So I copied my GROUPS.GRP file to this folder and restarted the service.

My GROUPS are back.

Is this an undocumented change or some kind of a “bug” in the
upgrade process ?
