If this needs to run at a very specific time the following does not apply but I think you could approximate a time once day using the executive alert. You choose internal servers alive command Set group to active when approixmately at 16:00 (all entries) Then add an alert to each check when up set to maintenance. This would ensure each one gets checked and if it is down it will continue to check until it is up. Just spit balling but seems like a good solution. Dirk, This would be a great feature request for the next version: the ability to run a check at a specific time. We also have a lot of items we would really like to evaluate only once a day. Youââ¬â¢d probably need a way to link it to the windows task scheduler to run when scheduled, and have the result picked up during the next cycleââ¬Â¦.. -Tom From: Servers Alive Discussion List [mailto:[email protected] (mailto:[email protected])] On Behalf Of Lau Daniels Sent: Tuesday, June 19, 2012 6:32 AM To: Servers Alive Discussion List Subject: RE: [SA-list] Configure a check to one time per day? Nico, Had the same problem, solved it by letting the check depend on a check to a batch file. The batch file checks time and a run once flag and gives an errorlevel to SA. It is not exactly on time (depends on how long your checks are running) but it will only run once within a decent time window. Hi Dirk, I can't figure out how to do a check one single time at 7:00 AM, is this possible without putting the check in maintenance for the rest of the day? I've tried to set the check-hours to 7:00-22:00 ( So I can see it's up during daytime) and only once every 500 checks starting at the first check, but it doesn't check at 7:00 then. what can I do?
