Does the normal SA logfile show anything?
Are you running some type of firewall software on this system?

As stated it did not tell us why but it does tell us when and it is consistent.

The connection and the disconnection are all separated by 2 minutes and 2-4
seconds. Is anyone else using the remote icon (locally) and having this
issue? I have only tested on one PC.

Additional logging is part of the 2538 (and the RemoteIcon that is part of the
same installer).
Logging is done towards debugview.

In the current version there is no way to see the disconnects. I'll add some
logging to SA so we will be able to see those timings (it won't tell why
however)

Ok. I will update. Now back to the original issue.....Any way to troubleshoot
the client consistently disconnecting? It occurs within 5 minutes every time.
I have not actually had the time to watch it and get timing for every
disconnect.

The Remote Icon change is in that build. HOWEVER the useragent selector for
the URL check (whih was added in the 2534 build) also introduced a bug and that
one is fixed in the 2537 build...so don't run the 2534 you'll get issue when
editing URL checks...

I am running 2534. Would that include this smallish change?

Unfortunatly there is no logging :-(

What I would suggest before you continue your tests is to update to the latest
beta build...there is a smallish change in the Remote Icon that can help ...

I just began some limited testing with Servers Alive as a service on 2008. The
remote icon however keeps disconnecting. I have the remote icon running
against the localhost. Is there some sort of log or something that I can
check to see why it keeps getting disconnected?
