Hi All, having some trouble with the servers alive service crashing in my environment recently. Servers Alive Enterprise Version 6.3.2392 installed on a 2003 R2 server under an ESXi, 4.1 Virtual Host.
Randomly the service seems to fall over for no particular reason quoting the error: "Run-time error 10048: The specified address is already in use." Different times of the day, nothing in particular happening on the server at the times. Nothing in the event log which might explain it. I had suspected that someone was possibly logging in with another account and not connecting to the console session and possibly attempting to start a dual instance of SA, but I have searched the security audit log and can not see any connections to this server from anyone at or before the specified times. Can anyone elaborate on what this error may be referring to?
