Subject: [SA-list] monitoring https page with token IDs

Hi,

I am trying to monitor a https page in order to let me know when it is down.
Unfortunately, it uses token IDs, so the URL is different every time you go to
the page.

When the site is down, a redirect to a status page occurs.

An example of the page you would go to when pointing your browser to
https://xxxxxx.xxx.edu/naznet/ is:

https://xxxxxx.xxx.edu/naznet/naznet?TYPE=M&PID=CORE-WBMAIN&TOKENIDX=4694983637

If the page is up, you get some basic verbiage and a login dialogue box. If the
site is down, you are redirected to:

https://xxxxxx.xxx.edu/naznet/html/unavailable.html

This site has a static message saying the service is unavailable.

I am not sure how best set up an alert for this kind of page because the check
in SA does not work with https://xxxxxx.xxx.edu/naznet/. I assume this is
because there is no page here as you are redirected to a session.

Any assistance with setting up an alert in this situation would be greatly
appreciated.

Thanks,
