We would like to trigger a server reboot based on incoming email. We have a 3rd party host that can send us an email based on certain conditions. Receiving this email would prompt us to reboot our server. Can this be done by some type of script? I anticipated maybe finding a way to copy that email as a file to a server directory folder and monitor for >1 files to trigger the reboot. Any ideas is much appreciated.
