CE 2.x does appear to be allergic to true-colour icons, and the mere sight of 'em is enough to bring it out in a rash. I've built a new version with only 8-bit icons, which CE 2.x is quite happy with. The new version is available from: http://www.simcoupe.org/files/SimCoupe090b8a-ARM.exe If you've no ActiveSync handy, you can copy the following CAB to the device directly, and open it to install: http://www.simcoupe.org/files/SimCoupe090b8a.ARM.CAB So far I've run it (successfully) on the following devices: iPAQ 36xx (CE 2.x), iPAQ 5450 (CE 3.x) and iPAQ 2210 (CE 4.2).
