I am in contact with Simon Goodwin and have news. This is an extract from one of his last mails, where I asked him to to ask Andy Wright to make Masterdos free available:

Why not get the same with ROM 3.0? However, I am in hold of the SAM COUPE ROM 3.0 SOURCE CODE, Copyright Andrew J.A. Wright 1989-90. But I know....
