Note that SAD format is older than SimCoupe, and I created it just to backup standard diskettes, which sometimes do have more than 80 tracks. The rest information describes the geometry, it is the same all across the disk. Please don't call it useless because SAD is just a standard diskette image, so it (1.)must contain diskette geometry information and (2.)don't need anything else. It was not mentioned to handle any copy-protected diskettes. The rest information (written by Si Owen) is 100% correct.
