I also couldn't resist trying the ATOM but I didn't use the formatter. I
just created the hd file using the option in the menu and then after booting
bdos :
DPOKE DVAR25,recordnumber
RENAME RECORD TO "xxxxx"
The record was then available to BDOS and could be used normally.

The atom support seems to work really well, thanks Si a big improvment for
me over the v090 beta 4. As I've mentioned before as I use a program which
switches diskettes with the RECORD command to read data from multiple
diskettes.
