It's a SAm Disk image for use with the SAM emulator (http://www.simcoupe.org/). You can also write SAD back to a floppy for use with a real SAM, if you still have one. Grab the latest emulator beta from: http://tinyurl.com/4gko4 and you'll be able to double-click the .SAD file to boot it.
