formatting disks

Hi, I unearthed my old SAM from my loft, but alas have been unable to 
find any software for it, I had tons of stuff including all the disk 
mags and games, but I had a read through the stuff on the net and found 
the utility for transferring the software to SAM disks, but I couldn't 
find anywhere how to format a disk on the SAM, can anybody tell me the 
command and syntax for formatting a 3.5" floppy on the SAM?
