Oh yes, and it was demo'd at at least one show... I think it was down to time - and other projects - it didn't get further (at a guess!) The principle, from what I recall, is probably based from the MGT interface from the first techy manual - but with the option for banks of Roms.... ie - if you have a single 8bit register controlling a selected ROM, then potentially 8mb (I think!) of Roms can be accessed...
