As the responsible for putting together the SAM library: Yes. :) > The z88 seems to support Sam, any body got any examples of how easy or hard > it is to make Z80 code for Sam using Z88dk or any comments on it. It's not hard at all. You need the CVS version though, but compiling the host compiler is not very difficult. At least not on Linux. Once, installed, some samples are located in examples/sam. Currently there are some limitations, like always initalizing in mode 1 and using ROM routines for some stuff. Ideally I'd like to make a library for the SAM specific parts (graphics, sound), but I'd also like to make the interface common in z88dk. However, there has not been much demand for it and it's relativily easy to circumvent it. So this has not happened yet. The ROM stuff was used just because it reduced time-to-market and size. :) If anybody wants to have a go with z88dk I'll try to help. -Frode -- ^ Frode Tenneb | email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ^ | Ericsson AS | Isebakkeveien 49 | | N-1788 Halden | Phone: +47 45 24 99 39 | | with Standard.Disclaimer; use Standard.Disclaimer; |
