There are some new remixes of traditional chip tunes, all done by Frantisek Fuka/Fuxoft. They are all in mp3 format, but the sound is classic ... :-)

I think I prefer hubbard_bytefest.mp3 - if only for the nostalgia factor... although to be honest I didn't think any of them were his best ever tunes; a modern version of Draconis or the Triltex music could be really good though.
Actually it's a funny coincidence that you emailed this today, as I was about to send a different email along very similar lines:
... ever since getting the audio CD on the front of Sam Revival 11 (great work, by the way, Colin!) I had been wondering what some of the old E-Tracker (etc) music would have sounded like without the technical restrictions of the early nineties. So with that in mind, I set about creating a "homage" to an old tune, and now you can listen to it here:
