With PC keyboards having the 'windows' keys for 10 years now (and 8 at the
time when I was developing the interface) it was something I had to consider
as standard, and they do provide useful keys for some of the functions.

I am still considering using the 'multimedia' keys on some of the more
fancier PC keyboards too for extra functions, or for automatically typing in
common BASIC functions etc. (The 'type in' facility I have in the PC
Keyboard Interface is only used at the moment to type in a test message to
check the interface is wired in correctly -
