With PC keyboards having the 'windows' keys for 10 years now (and 8 at the time when I was developing the interface) it was something I had to consider as standard, and they do provide useful keys for some of the functions. I am still considering using the 'multimedia' keys on some of the more fancier PC keyboards too for extra functions, or for automatically typing in common BASIC functions etc. (The 'type in' facility I have in the PC Keyboard Interface is only used at the moment to type in a test message to check the interface is wired in correctly - http://www.quazar.clara.net/sam/samgfx4/cgpk.gif ) Colin ===== Quazar : Hardware, Software, Spares and Repairs for the Sam Coupe April 1995-2005 - Celebrating 10 Years of developing for the Sam Coupe Website: http://www.quazar.clara.net/sam/ and http://www.samcoupe.com/
