There certainly a demand for these machines - maybe retro fans and computer users alike are only just waking up to the fact that they missed out on something special when they were younger - everyone I went to school never even of the Sam and the few that did (only the true computer boffins of the school!) thought Defenders of the Earth was the only game ever released for the Sam - lack of advertising & general public ignorance killed of the machine before it had a chance - I honestly think the value of the machines and the games will rocket within the next few years - games will almost certainly be impossible to find - many of them being snapped up by overseas consumers - Sam Lemmings was sold on ebay within an hour of it going on!  Amigas, ST's & Acorns go for about £20 mark on ebay ,  the Sam - anything upto £200!  Mad....but ever since I was young I always knew the Sam was a specia l machine that would become a true collectors item computer one day, probably the reason I hung onto it despite a lack of software support.
