Though I don't have answers to those, I aquired a selection of extra ROM
versions from Simon N Goodwin a while back. I thought I also uploaded them
to NVG but I can't see them anywhere. I'll send you them directly if you're
interested... The ROM versions are: 0.1, 0.4, 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.8,
1.81, 2.0, 2.1, 2.4, 2.5 and 3.0

Some additional details from Simon's e-mails:

"I found a SAM disk with all my post-release SAM ROMs collected on it, so
I've packed it up and attached it. Beware - the early ROMs are very buggy -
they tend to go mad once BASIC starts paging. ROM 10 is the one that
requires the CALL after F9 or BOOT - because the ROM loads the bootstrap but
fails to execute it. The address depends on the RAM size - on a 256K SAM:
CALL 229385 or on a 512K or larger machine: CALL 491529"

"ROM01 is the very first ROM from SAMP001, my prototype machine, marked
07-Nov-89, and ROM04 is the update I got four weeks later (04-Dec-89). Both
make ROM10 look stable!"

"I'll check that Dr. Andy doesn't mind, but I'm sure he'll be happy for you
to have them and doubt if he'll mind them being freely available, as long as
people know that they have got bugs and later versions were released to
squash those!"

btw Dan, great work on the immense amount of content you've added to WoS.
By the number of updates coming through on the RSS, it seems like you're
working on it almost full time! :-)
