Same sort of story with everyone so I know what you mean, so many things started but abandoned for whatever reason. Adrian Parker looked at acceleration in the early years, Simon Cooke had his prototype running at an early stage too. I've got bits packed away myself in a box in the loft too when I first looked at it all years ago - very unstable stuff, small experiments with the Sam and faster Z80 and Z180, and still have a pile of data books for the Z380 sitting on my bookshelf. It all really comes down to time and sheer determination! Although saying that I didn't really spend any of 2005 working on it due to other factors getting in the way of my time and concentration, so as shown in news articles etc there was a big gap between the ORSAM show in 2004 where the work-in-progress was revealed and the latest dev work this February, but it does feel good to be at this stage now and i'm looking forward to see what new things programmers can do with the extra speed!
