I've got a pair of 210,000uF -10 +100% 10VDC a 15VDC 100,000MFD and a pair of 
25VDC 75,000MFD which should really read uF but that's USA manufacturers for 
you, they all make a nice big *BANG* when shorted after a charge<g>

I did try using the 210,000uF one to maintain my sam during a short powerloss 
but any longer than about 0.5 second was too long for it... I eventually 
settled for 4 x 5AH cyclon sealed lead-acid cells;-)

The largest value I've seen was 1Farad but that's just a cmos memory backup 
capacitor so it doesn't have the same umph of normal electrolytics.
