Today Mr. Anonymity spat:

> JUNK EMAIL??? What the **** do you call this crap?

*sigh* if I _have_ to explain it to you...

On mail systems you have mailing lists and groups and such like.
I work in an organisation where there are 1200+ mail users and you
have an option of sending a mail to all mail users.

What you get is some bastard sending a mail to all users that he will
be off next week, or going to the dentist or something and the situation
came to a head and there was much slagging (each flame going to every
user).

I was quite surprised, it only took 4 hours for the three mail servers to
crash.

Besides, sam-users has been quiet for all week (everybody is exhausted and
having recurrent nightmares about partition tables...) and I thought it
would
be good to lighten up, so there.

The Internet is also getting hammered by bastards who junk mail, not content
with junk faxing or posting ads in the newsgroups.

Dan.
