The QUAZAR SURROUND is a new sound card for the Sam, it has two modes of operation: mode 1 : six 8 bit sound channels mode 2: two 8 bit sound channels and two SIXTEEN BIT sound channels The sound card can generate surround sound if 4 speakers are connected, or stereo if only 2 are connected... All the mode switching etc is done by software. Plus, the Quazar Surround has a sampler port where you can plug in a stereo 8 bit sampler.
