Try "sox" from http://multivac.ludd.luth.se/pub/sounds/SoundConversion/ . Oh... and for non-WWW people try FTP to ftp.ludd.luth.se and look in /pub/sounds/SoundConversion/ . Sox 5 (and I presume sox 7) can convert .au files to .VOC or .WAV files. It doesn't play them though. imc
