I suppose I should've checked out what it said before using it;-)
braille is based on 3x2 patterns, isn't it? In which case it'd be very 
difficult to say anything using those ascii symbols on a single tag-line...

How about a Braille interface unit that has 3x2 plungers driven by an I/O port 
which can be fed by a utility that converts the ASCII screen output to braile
patterns?
