'samdir' et al working under linux?

Has anyone managed to get the 'samdir' et al working
under linux? I tried, but failed miserably... :(

And can someone on the list fix my address?
It's now [EMAIL PROTECTED], not [EMAIL PROTECTED]
anymore (since that account is now disabled).
