I think he was meaning << it's not "easier to find one of those" >> [a BBC lead] rather than << it's not "the same as the BBC one" >> :) incidentally, my parallel printer port for the SAM has an IBM PC style connector, which means it's dead easy to add things like PIC programmers on to it. Perhaps an adapter lead might be of use to some people?!! Andy
