I'm pleased to say I managed to track down a supplier of SAM printer cables for a paltry £4, including post and packing. The cable arrived today in it's original packaging and tied up, as it's in mint condition. A quoted price of £7.95 doesn't sound so good after all....
Unfortunately, my 'source' doesn't have a big supply of cables, so doesn't want any advertising on these pages. (Shame!) Thanks everyone for the help and advice. - Phil Glover, (now with 2 SAMs connected to printers)
