Give me one good reason why i shoud believe you instead of Malcom. Did you
know it is rather bad manners to chop the name of the one you are replying
to of this email.

So did you asked them after the show why they did not come? They could have
a very good reason for not attending the show. But from your story there is
no way telling if you ever asked them, why not?

Therefore this is a rather strange reply because you have no clue
whatsoever in why they did not come to the show and only used it 
as a excuse (being a rather pathetic one) in trying to blame 
Malcom that he is telling a untrue story.
