hehe.. well your in luck matey :O)... i've written another version of it, which will work on dodgy disks... if it reads a bad track, it drops down and reads sector by sector.. then if they dont work if just skips the thing (but fills out the file so the file is right size)... it means you can copy your messed up disks alright :o).. which is quite useful if yours are in as bad a state as mine... i meant to get this finished... but wasnt sure if anyone cared :o)... seeing as you would quite like something that works ill get on with it and finish it off.... at the moment it only works for reading disks... but that works fine - if you want it just email me & ill send you a copy.. :o).. once i get it finished ill put it up on the ftp thang anyways... hope this is some help :o) martin fitzpatrick -- Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ICQ#: 11077801 AOL/CServeIM: Flupert
