Indeed :) If I'd been able to respond earlier, I could have told you this - while I was at Microsoft, I was working on WFC :) In fact, if you're using the latest Microsoft JVM, its got some of my WFC bugfixes in there :-) WFC is not for Applets... it's for Windows programs. Which it does exceedingly well. The only problem, of course, is that Java is REALLY BAD with Strings. Memory hog. What can I say? So forget writing editors, compilers or parsers in it. Personally, I'm moving over to Win32 just as soon as I finish hacking together my mini-Win32 wrapper library. :) Si
