SAM Elite was brought out by West Coast Computers/Format Publications and was being sold for £200 before Format disappeared. The only differences are: - it has two horrible stickers and - a built in printer port (Coupé's have no built in printer port). - a new type of disk drive, placed on the right hand side No idea how many were sold, not many I would guess, it wasn't exactly marketed very well and the price was a bit over the top. The Coupé was released in 1989 whilst the Elite was released in 1994. Gavin
