No idea where you get 284 from (typo?) but the Sam screen is not interlaced so the vertical resolution is 192 full stop. Well, not quite full stop. If you can draw a pattern which moves upward or downward at a rate of 1 pixel every 2 frames then you can appear to interlace that pattern and have a vertical resolution of 384. imc
