Well I'm certainly interested in the entire ZAT set - as I'm trying to get
an archive set up for all the issues!

Have you got the last couple of issues as well?

Will pay you a fair price for them as well.

David

PS: Burried in those Floormats - have you the odd couple of issues where I
wrote the odd article for Bobby?

Subject: SAM and assorted hardware, anyone?

Much as I love my dear old SAM, I rarely use it now, and would rather it go
to a good home. I've had years of pleasure from SAM and the whole SAM world,
but now it gathers dust, and rarely has its old power supply warmed-up.

Unfortunately, the deal comprises of quite a lot of stuff, so I don't want
to
mail it. I prefer to have it collected in one go. I'm still sorting out a
few
things, but here's what I currently have for the package so far:

Sam 512k with twin disk drives
Sambus
One meg module
Mouse
Joystick
printer interface
COMMS interface
200meg IDE disk drive & interface from Steve's Software
Star LC10 printer (with one or two new ribbons, somewhere)
Printer cable, SCART lead and other clutter.
Phillips CM8833 MkII monitor
Loads of original software, a pile of Formats and ZATs, even a SAM drinks
mat!

What price, I hear you ask. Umm, how does £100 sound?
Where will it have to be collected from? Glorious Birmingham.

If more than one person is interested, I could put the names into a
proverbial hat, and select just one.

However, another option is to announce a Saturday in the next month or two,
or three, and maybe the package could be carefully split among SAM
enthusiasts, on the understanding that I want as much to go as possible.

I also hope to check over my second 512k SAM (without too much hardware, but
has one disk drive) and let that go as well, if it's OK. I've also got an
old
pre-Amstrad Spectrum 128k with a Plus D set-up, but that'll need checking
too.

Anyone who's interested in this offer, please let me know so we can sort out
something that may be fair for all concerned. If nobody replies, there's
always the council tip. (Only joking!)

Phil Glover,
Hall Green, Birmingham UK.
