Most of the old Spectrum BASIC syntax can be used, but the most interesting commands are of course the new SAM-specific ones. Of course you've got to type them out in full now, but recognised keywords are still tokenised on input. Have you got hold of a _real_ SAM then? If it's come with the standard User Manual, that should get you up to speed on general use pretty quickly... Si
