Quick question for anyone with a PC disk drive on their Sam...

What changes need to be made to the normal WD1772 interface
to make the PC drive work? I'm using both a home made board
and an old interface from a sam drive - and each time
the drive is detected by the Sam - but when accessed it
just spins (disk light stays off too).... and times out with a
'check disk in drive' error. (The WD1772's im using are working
- i've tested it in one of my citizen drives)

On the board from an old Sam drive - both Motor Enable
pins (10 and 16) on the floppy connector are tied together from the signal
from the WD1772 (through an invertor), but in the schematic
for the external disk interface pin 10 (Motor Enable A) is tied to zero
volts.

I've tried both - same problem each time - the disk drive just spins
when accessed...

Anyone able to lend any advice on getting a PC drive working ?

Cheers
