PS Whatever happened to "Format"?
Probably got a shock after posting out all the owed SAM Clocks....

I can't say if he was ill or not but I do know that during the time he went quiet on this list due to his "illness", his newsgroup posting went through the roof. Interestingly, he seems to drift from newsgroup to newsgroup, dishing out advice and annoying people in much the same way he did on this list. He gave out a lot of advice in legal newsgroups...
planning to continue with Format once he got back on his feet - indeed, the editorial of the last issue of Format (circa Feb 99) did mention some health problems.
Didn't he complain that someone reported him for claiming disability whilst he was still earning money from Format/WCC/Revelation?
think it's a shame, and very strange, that he should just vanish like that.
He never vanished, he just went quiet on us. He's probably reading this now.
Oh how nice it is to come back to old topics again :) It's true what they say about needing your nemesis.
