*grins* I know you were joking :) I was supposed to be replying in a half serious, half joking fashion, but it may have come across wrong. (I've had 9 hours of sleep or so in the last two days thanks to the Sierra layoffs... sheesh... and I always get a bit... weird if I don't get enough sleep these days. Call it nervous exhaustion. Call it bad comic timing. Call it... well... erm... something!) Speaking of which... *phew* I've still got a job. Thank god. I wish I could say the same for 245 other people. :( This is the second time in less than a year... I hope the economy stops stalling soon and levels out a bit. ... and on that note... what's everyone up to these days? I'm writing photo editing software for Sierra, having just finished working on Generations back in December (woohoo! we're the top Sierra/Vivendi productivity title in the UK!!!). Currently I'm trying to work out if I can use DirectDraw to do a photoeditor. Might be fun - and very very snappy :) Beat that, oh Apple Benchmarketers :) Other than that... although the site's not up yet (but the domain is), I'm working on some other stuff - namely filming :) http://www.popcornfilms.com is where the action will be eventually. We've already done one thing ('The Sensual Art of Poledancing', believe it or not, which me & a friend edited up and aired on Public Access [think Wayne's World, but real life] on Monday), but that's under a different name - we don't want to give the wrong impression if we make it big :) Until then though... desperately trying to come up with an idea for a 5 minute short to get on the Sci-Fi channel. Slight problem though... our producer[1] *did* get laid off, and may be moving to Texas. Quite how a guy like Chris survives in Texas, I don't know. I would have thought that the last place you'd want to go if you were (a) loudmouthed and (b) black would be the highly racist/stuck-in-a-timewarp Deep South. But hey... I wish him well. Si [1] I'm director/editor/screenwriter/lighting/grip, my partner in this wonderful venture Steve is cinematographer/lighting/sound/screenwriter/executive producer (which I guess, strictly, we all are...), and Chris is cinematographer/screenwriter/editor/producer. And he's a damn good producer. By the way, for the uninitiated amongst you, a grip is someone who (amongst other things) holds 1/2stone microphone on the end of a 12 foot fishing pole over their head for several hours at a time while everyone else does fun stuff.
